I have bet on countless of hands of blackjack. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it almost impossible to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that blackjack appears to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the runs you witness gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $5 bet
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first forty dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 bet
If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
