There are a couple of scheme charts which will help you make your way from beginner to professional but the following suggestions will give you an excellent idea on what to do and what you can not to do: If your hand is the same as seventeen or higher, but you have not exceeded twenty one – Sit. If you’ve been assigned a hand with two Aces or 2 eights split! If you have been assigned a hand with 2 10’s or two face cards do not split.
Card Counting
Card counting is one of the most favorite chemin de fer schemes; it is the skill of gamblers to mentally count; put the cards used to memory and to determine how many big value cards remain in the deck. This scheme has been prohibited by most brick and mortar casinos but isn’t really illegal provided that the gambler isn’t using a mechanical device to do so. Counting cards is not possible when gambling on blackjack on the net as the deck is usually shuffled after each hand.
