The question being pondered today is what is going to be the future of card counters in Blackjack. are the days of counting cards over? Most believe so.
Automated shuffle machines are being utilized in todays tables which makes tracking shuffles or counting cards futile. The land based casinos are going to place shuffling machines at the tables.
It’s believed that in locations like atlantic city, surveillance cameras are being employed to look at the abilities of the players and smart black jack tables that keep tracks of players hands and tactics utilizing magnetized chips.
The Nevada State Gaming Commission, an agency that protects fair gaming has ruled that casinos may not change the games in a manner that would change the frequency of the payouts. Since then, many Nevada betting houses instruct their dealers to count cards and shuffle as they please, also almost all of the betting houses keeps information of card count, this information consists of names and pictures to keep them out of the game.
So what will be the outcome of this twenty-one "war"? is it just beginning or will it soon arrive at an end? Regardless of all their newest tech, political and monetary affects, I have reason to believe there is still a hope for a joyful result. With in excess of 25 states within the United States allowing blackjack games, there are more money making prospects for card counting than back in the olden days.
