I have bet on countless of hands of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this tactic or beat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years back with $750 after 35 mins using this method! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.

Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet

Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 wager

Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet

Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Take $80 paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet

Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of $160
Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
