I have enjoyed countless of hands of 21. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a few years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this technique! And a couple of months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original $5 bet
Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
