Blackjack is a game that brings to mind an image of a roller coaster. It is a game that starts out slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you ramp up your bankroll, you feel like you are slowly getting to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom drops out.
black jack is so akin to a rollercoaster the similarities are awe-inspiring. As is the case with the popular amusement ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will seem to be going well for a while before it bottoms out yet again. You have to be a player who’s able to adjust well to the ups and downs of the game especially given that the game of blackjack is choked full with them.
If you like the mini coaster, a coaster that does not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the coaster ride is with a bigger bet, then jump on for the ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high rolling gambler will love the view from the monster roller coaster because he/she is not thinking about the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s just great, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to flip and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.
If you don’t, you may not naturally recall how much you enjoyed life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, an awesome ride and your head in the clouds. As you are recalling "what ifs", you won’t recall how "high up" you went but you will have memories of that mortifying drop as clear as day.
