I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over this time period I have played a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this tactic or beat the house, nonetheless you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that 21 appears to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a number of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this method! And a few days ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you notice betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 bet
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of $10

Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40
Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original $40 wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of $160
Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
