I have gambled on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of cash at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this method or beat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this tactic! And a few days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first ten dollar wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original $20 wager
Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Wager $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first forty dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
