I have gambled on millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have enjoyed online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years back with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a few months ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can squander much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you notice gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager

Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of $20
Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager
Bet $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet
If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
